Bujin Soke

Spray paint on canvas. 12″x12″.

This piece is based on a photo that appears in Soke Masaaki Hatsumi’s book “The Essence of Budo”.  There are many talented people who provided photos for this book, and it is not clear to me who provided this one, so I am sorry that I cannot give credit to that person.  If you know who took the photo, please let me know.

The kanji are based on a calligraphy that Soke gave me some years ago.
